Why We Built This Caucus
The long-term security and survival of Texas is too important to leave to chance. With 15+ military installations, national leadership in energy, a major agricultural base, and more than 1,200 miles of international border, Texas sits at the frontlines of America’s security — and what we protect here protects the nation.
We built the Texas National Security Caucus as a bipartisan, bicameral forum where legislators, industry, and stakeholders can tackle the issues that matter most: defense, the border, energy and infrastructure, agriculture, cybersecurity, and economic resilience. Through trainings, site visits, candid engagement, and a focused legislative agenda, we turn those conversations into real policy that keeps Texans safe and Texas strong.
